Speaker line-up

This year's speaker line-up included photographers and filmmakers; best in their field. Specialising in everything from social engagement to photography business, long exposure to macro, they shared their expertise with visitors throughout the four days.

Victoria Hillman

Victoria studied Zoology with Marine Zoology at the University of Wales, Bangor before going on to study for an MSc in Wildlife Biology and Conservation at Edinburgh Napier University. Nature has been a passion from an early age with photography following closely behind. She has developed her scientific and photographic skills alongside each other and although specialising in macro photography, Victoria does still photograph other wildlife.   Victoria is a Manfrotto Ambassador and guide for NaturesLens and has contributed stills, video and articles to magazines, books and TV series including National Geographic and The BBC, with awards in various competitions.

Victoria published her first book Forgotten Little Creatures in 2017 bringing together photography with scientific and historical facts.

In 2018 Victoria joined the judging panels for both British Wildlife Photography Awards (BWPA) and Bird Photographer Of The Year (BPOTY).
