Speaker line-up

This year's speaker line-up included photographers and filmmakers; best in their field. Specialising in everything from social engagement to photography business, long exposure to macro, they shared their expertise with visitors throughout the four days.

Sanjay Jogia

Sanjay is an Internationally Acclaimed Award-Winning Photographer based in historic Harrow-On-The-Hill in Greater London, England. Known for being a ‘creative geek’.  He travels the world as a Photographer, Educator, Mentor, Judge and Brand Ambassador.
Sanjay has the honour of being one of only 3 Canon Ambassadors for the wedding genre across Europe, and in addition to this he is an Ambassador for other global brands including Profoto, Wacom, X-Rite, Fundy Software, Loupedeck, Tethertools and Anthem One Lighting.  Sanjay was also responsible for bringing Fundy Software.

Sanjay has been featured as one of the 6 Best Wedding Photographers in the World by Professional Photographer Magazine and has photographed some of the most luxurious weddings across Europe, India, Africa and the United States over the past 10 years making him one of the most sought-after high-end wedding photographers, with a global social media following of over 100,000 followers.

Sanjay is a Fellow of the SWPP, an Associate of The British Photography Awards and a Judge for the SWPP & WPPI at the Annual 20x16 Print Competitions. He has earned over 35 awards in only three years of entering the SWPP Annual 20x16 Print Competitions, and 31 WPPI awards (including a category 2nd place at the 2017, and 3rd place at the 2018 WPPI Annual 20x16 print competition).

Sanjay’s love of photography started at school with his Dads Canon AE-1 and was raised within a culture of photography while his Dad worked at the local Kodak factory for 35 years (where Sanjay also worked as a student manufacturing 35mm film).

Having qualified as an Architect, he believes strongly that there are many parallels between his Photography his Architectural training: For example; light, composition, space, aesthetics, surface, texture and creativity are all key elements to both disciplines.

His wedding portrait images are a blend of fashion and movie inspired imagery using beauty lighting & posing techniques, and he balances this with a sensitive, observant and almost portrait-like documentary approach for everything else giving his wedding couples the best of both worlds.

Sanjay loves to teach and create that ‘Eureka’ moment with his students whether it’s at one of his limited and exclusive group workshops, or at the various seminars and conventions that he is invited to speak at globally, or at his private ‘One-on-One’ workshops he runs at his Showroom; either way he feels a duty to help protect and shape the future of our industry.
