Speaker line-up

This year's speaker line-up included photographers and filmmakers; best in their field. Specialising in everything from social engagement to photography business, long exposure to macro, they shared their expertise with visitors throughout the four days.

Nick Dunmur

Nick Dunmur is a professional photographer and has been all his working life. He is involved in professional commercial and advertising commissions, including making small pieces of video/moving image for clients, and in producing personal photographic work for several environment-driven photographic print works. A large-scale body of work titled Edgelands, has already formed the basis of two exhibitions in the Midlands and he is now pursuing a new series of work titled Four Seconds of a Train Journey. He sells editioned fine-art photographic prints through his own dUNMUR | Printworks and fourseconds.work websites as well as thorough his shop at Artfinder.

For 6 years until June 2013, Nick was a non-executive director of the Association of Photographers (AOP) and between October 2008 and January 2011 held the role of Chair. He was also one of the founding group of members of Pro Imaging, another trade body which protects the rights of professional photographers, and up until 2013, represented them on the board of the British Photographic Council (BPC). He is also now the Business & Legal Adviser to AOP members, providing them with support on all matters connected with copyright, licensing, contracts and business practice in general.
