Evgenia tells four short stories that form part of a long-term personal project about her homeland, the Russian Arctic; the place she comes back to, time and again to capture the people and the communities who live in extreme isolation, and in the harsh environment of the far north. These stories are about human resilience, strength and at the same time about fragility and the beauty of the Arctic nature.
