Tom Warland
Visual Anthropologist & Stereoscopic Photographer
Tom Warland is a visual anthropologist specialising in documentary photography, film, and illustration, and is a lecturer at Buckinghamshire College Group. He studied Documentary Photography at the University of Wales, Newport, and completed an MA in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography at UAL: London College of Communication, where his work was featured by the BBC. His practice examines traditions and ideas within British society and culture, and his work has been exhibited nationally and published widely. He has also studied anthropology at the University of Queensland, Australia. Tom is a Brand Ambassador for Alfie Cameras, and Vintage Visual. In 2025, he co-founded TWD Photographic and designed the "Clipshoe", now stocked by Analogue Wonderland. He co-hosts the Almost in Focus podcast with Tobias Beach-Wyld.
