In 2016 Stewart photographed a zebra jumping spider in his back garden, since then he has been hooked on macro photography and wanted to learn all he could about it. He'd done macro photography before, dandelion clocks, and so on but the jumping spider image captivated him and so the love of the macro world started, and he needed to pursue it. In 2018 he decided, with encouragement from friends and family, to create a YouTube channel in hopes of inspiring other photographers to try out macro photography.
