Roxy Furman

Roxy Furman

Roxy is a biologist and wildlife filmmaker who tells stories about animals and the natural world. These stories provide insight into how an animal’s life could ignite long-lasting change to human behaviour. Roxy will talk about how wildlife filmmaking can be an incredibly powerful tool for conservation. She will also discuss a recent shoot in Mexico, where she made two short films both focusing on the relationship between ecotourism and wildlife – the films focus on two iconic species - whale sharks and spider monkeys.
