After moving back to the UK , Lee took the position of video design engineer at Rees instruments before heading its System Design Division and was involved with many industrial imaging solutions for the global nuclear industry. After periods working with HM Government on its specialist surveillance hardware he moved into a sales and product development role for Learian imaging 1996. He has been involved in many iconic designs in the video sector since this time including the UK's first ANPR camera and a range of road safety products. He was a co-founder of Panoptech, and Routesafe and helped create the Timelapse Store in 2019. Lee has an extensive knowledge of imaging technologies and optic systems and has been involved in a number of high profile projects both at home and overseas. Lee sat on the innovation group for Brinno UK for a short period and has helped other timelapse companies bring their product to the European market. During his time at the Timelapse store, Lee has worked with clients like BBC Sport, Channel 4 and Centrica to create a wide range of HD timelapse solutions.
