Jen Stitt
Photographer (and Master Robot Tamer)
Jen’s journey in photography began in the days of film, darkrooms, and daily newspaper deadlines. A 2008 graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology with a BFA in Film and Animation, she seamlessly transitioned her photojournalism and cinematic expertise into the digital age. In 2011, alongside her husband Travis, she launched Uncorked Studios, which evolved into the boutique brand Fox & Brazen in 2019, reflecting their commitment to a personalized, high-end client experience.
As co-founder and creative force behind Fox & Brazen, Jen has built a reputation for blending traditional and contemporary techniques to craft images that are as technically precise as they are emotionally resonant. Her work is driven by storytelling, cinematic lighting, and a passion for delivering imagery that stands the test of time—both in artistry and print. A fierce advocate for the power of print and print competitions, Jen believes that a photograph’s true legacy lies in its tangible form.
Her storefront studio focuses on capturing all things love—from weddings and engagements to lifestyle sessions and Santa experiences. With a global client base, Jen’s work is rooted in uncovering and preserving her clients’ unique stories through her lens. Her dedication to technical excellence and education has positioned Jen as a renowned international educator and image competition judge. She proudly holds the prestigious Professional Photographers of America (PPA) Wedding Photography Degree and the Fellowship distinction (FSWPP) from the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers. A fierce competitor herself, Jen was a Diamond winner in the Wedding category during the inaugural IPC Competition. Currently, she is on an extraordinary journey, training under some of the most elite minds in the industry to master the art of international image competition judging—a pursuit that blends her passion for excellence with her love for the craft.
Jen’s passion for photography extends beyond the camera. She is deeply committed to education, community, and empowering women in the photography and wedding industries. Whether embracing technical challenges in the field or perfecting her craft behind the computer, Jen’s unwavering dedication to her art ensures she remains at the forefront of the ever-evolving photography world.
