Alan Schaller
Street Photographer
Alan is a London based photographer who specialises in black and white photography. His work is often abstract and incorporates elements of surrealism, geometry, high contrast and the realities and diversities of human life. He co-founded the Street Photography International Collective (SPi). It was set up to promote the best work in the genre, and to give a platform to talented yet unrepresented photographers. Alan has managed to build a large following on Instagram and YouTube.
In 2025, he founded the photography Sharing app called Irys. Built with the photography community in mind the app is designed to create a quieter space for photography with no advertising and follower counts just great photography. Alan will be talking about his career and photography style and how he has build his following. He will also talk about how he came to launch Irys and the concept behind it.
