17 Mar 2024
Behind the Lens
Behind the Lens
Mattias Klum has been documenting the world around us since 1986. Starting as a nature photographer, he joined National Geographic in the early 90s, and has since photographed everything from rare wildlife and plants, to ethnic minorities and illegal logging - everywhere from Antarctica to Zimbabwe. Connected with a common thread of interlinked ecosystems with a conservation story at its heart, Mattias's work covers macro, action, landscape, portraiture and more, also extending into documentary filmmaking and cinematography. In this special session, he will discuss his incredible career and varied projects as a photographer, filmmaker and artist, and open the floor to your questions.
