And this is no ordinary landscape photography book; forever pushing the boundaries of his genre, Colin has adopted a more immersive approach by combining a landscape view with a more intimate image from the same locale. These very different presentations of the same place invite readers to see landscapes in new ways and ultimately, a different way of encountering place. In this exclusive preview of this ongoing personal project, Colin will describe his thought process, the synergies between these two different parts of the landscape, and how understanding the visual language of the general public is crucial to success.
