Weddings are a big part of photography, whether you are looking for a career change or looking to improve your photography skills and working with clients, my workshops are here to help point you in the right direction. A bride and groom will also be present.

After having a full time job and at the time doing between 10-15 weddings a year for around 10 years, I was getting more and more enquiries so I jumped in two feet first not really knowing what to expect and left my job to tackle this ambition, this was a huge learning curve to which I had to gain marketing skills, people skills, how to deal with and gain clients, I also felt on a personal level my photography skills had to improve, even now I like to try new things to give clients something new,  as we all know this is the first thing people see with the likes of social media. I now photograph on average 40-50 weddings a year. As this is a skill a lot of photographers would love to learn or gain I’m holding this workshop that will help pass my knowledge to you. On the day I will also have a bride and groom present.

You will also have the opportunity to come along to a real wedding with me afterwards so you are able to see me work through the day.

This workshop is for both experienced photographers and those new to the industry.

During the day we will cover: My workflow - Images taken at real weddings and how I achieved them - Looking for the best available light - using everyday equipment and shooting with natural light to speed lights (ocf) and Gels - positioning of lights and modifiers used - posing the bride and groom - processing and finishing the image through to Wedding album designing. This is a jam packed full of information day.

Each photographer needs to bring along a camera and any equipment you already work with, (if unsure what you have is suitable or not please just ask) if you're a beginner my equipment will also be available to use, everyone will be taking images. You may also wish to take notes on the day.
