Accessibility statement

At Future (the Organisers of The Photography & Video Show), we're committed to making our trade shows, consumer events, conferences, and awards events accessible to all and continually strive to provide the best experience possible.

In-person events

For our in-person events, we aim to provide a welcoming and accessible environment by considering the following:

  • Venue selection: We prioritise venues that offer step-free access, accessible restrooms, and ample space for mobility aids. We encourage attendees to check individual event websites for specific venue accessibility details.

  • Layout and navigation: We endeavour to create clear pathways, accessible seating areas, and well-signposted routes. Event staff will be on hand to assist with navigation.

  • Presentations: We encourage our speakers to use clear and concise language, provide visual aids, and consider the use of microphones for enhanced audibility.

  • Assistance: Our event staff are very happy to assist with accessibility needs and we can provide BSL translators, hearing loops in theatres, and quiet spaces where possible. Check specific event websites for further details.

  • Dietary requirements: We aim to accommodate a range of dietary needs.
