The National Trust Photo Collections: Telling the story of stills in video
Michelle will discuss how she's gone about telling the stories of the vast National Trust photo collections - a huge undertaking! These photo collections are extensive and diverse, and many are yet to be seen by National Trust archivists or the public, let alone digitised. Michelle will delve into how the National Trust's partnership with CEWE has fed into this project, and how she approached narrativising it - building short-form video stories around the collections to engage and excite the National Trust's audiences. Plus, she'll reveal the challenges this project has presented so far, and what's next.
