Pro, Trade and Student entry

Professional photographers, filmmakers, content creators and image-making industry representatives can apply for FREE entry to the show. All applications are verified as it is essential for us to understand our visiting audience and have an accurate breakdown of attendees in order to fulfil our visitor attendance audit and tailor the show content appropriately.

The deadline for free pass applications is 23:59 on 14March 2024. From midnight on 15 March 2024, onsite ticket prices will apply to all.

Criteria for application:

Professionals currently working within the photography, filmmaking and media industries who make the majority of their income from photography, film production and / or content creation) may be entitled to free entry. All professional and trade registrations are verified and must fulfil at least two of the following criteria to qualify:

PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER OR FILMMAKER / VIDEOGRAPHER

• Website (must be active)
• Active social media handles (including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube)
• Up-to-date Professional Indemnity / Public Liability certificates
• Up-to-date company certificate
• Industry association membership number

PHOTOGRAPHY OR VIDEO TRADE (anyone who is professionally involved in the photography or video industry)

• Company name
• Job title
• Company website

CONTENT CREATOR / INFLUENCER (influencers may also apply for a press pass, subject to commitment to coverage of the show)

• Website (must be active)
• Active social media handles (including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube)
• Up to date Professional Indemnity / Public Liability certificates
• Talent agent name and contact
• Proof of commercial partnerships

If you visited the show as a professional or member of trade in 2021 or 2022, you will have been sent a registration link via email which will ensure that you bypass the approval process. If you have not received an email (make sure you check your junk and promotions folders), please contact us at thephotographyshow@futurenet.com.

We ask that those who attended shows prior to 2021 reapply for free entry. This policy ensures that we only pre-approve those who are still active in the industry and this preserves the integrity of the free ticket allocation for the show.

This year, students can attend any day of the show FREE.

Criteria for entry: Students (those studying photography, filmmaking or a related subject at GCSE level or above) are eligible for FREE entry on every day of the show. Students are asked to bring appropriate ID with them to the show (and are asked to give details of their ID at point of registration.

Under 18s (GCSE, A Level, NVQ) should be accompanied by a tutor / lecturer. For those under 16, we do ask that there is a 1:6 adult ratio, though this can be discussed case by case.
